Abhyasa Residental Public School was founded at Toopran village of Medak District, 45 kms from Secunderabad in June 1996, with a strength of 36 students from all over India and abroad. Abhyasa is the brain-child of Vinaayaka, who has been not only the founder of the school, but also the architect of the campus, the secretary & correspondent of the educational society and also the Principal of the school which now has a strength of 410 students,40 teaching staff and 30 non-teaching staff. Under his able leadership, Abhyasa has risen to be The Best ICSE School of Hyderabad, according to a survey conducted by the Indian express group of newspapers.

The school has been achieving 100 % First class results in all her board examinations at class 10th and 12th levels, conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, to which Abhyasa is affiliated, during the last ten years since year 2000. The school is also a force to reckon in the field of sports, games & cultural activities. Abhyasa has been achieving all-rounder championships at the Andhrapradesh Regional sports meet for ICSE schools and also the Horlicks Wiz Kids Activity.

Vinaayaka was bestowed with a gold medal and National Excellence award by Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham in December 2003 for introducing Creative teaching-learning methods in classrooms.

He is the Joint secretary and member of the Executive committee for the Andhra Pradesh Association of Schools affiliated to the Indian School Certificate Examinations and Chairman of the Sports sub committee for the Andhra Pradesh region.
